Forests and floods: can natural infrastructure protect us?

Join Community Forests International and NBEN for a discussion on natural infrastructure adaptation with Natalia Moudrak from the Intact Centre on Climate Adaptation.

This event will be a discussion on using natural infrastructure to increase climate resilience.

About the Guest Speaker:

Natalia is one of the country’s leading voices on using natural infrastructure, like healthy forests, wetlands, and other natural features, to adapt to climate change. With a B.A. in Economics and a Masters in Urban Planning from the University Waterloo, Natalia works to help communities understand the economic value of natural infrastructure assets for climate resilience, disaster risk reduction and other benefits.

Natalia will be joined by Daimen Hardie, Executive Director of Community Forests International.
